Pulse Ambulance & Medical Services has been cleared by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council to use the National Standard Patient Care Report.
This ensures that all patients transported or transferred to Hospital that are treated by staff of the company will be recorded in the national statistics for patients treated. It will also ensure an easier continuity of care as all hospital staff are comfortable with using the national standard forms ensuring that no information is lost or taken up incorrectly during handovers and during treatment within the A&E Departments.
At the same time we have started using the new National Patient Transport Report which has also been developed by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council.
For any future additions to the fleet we will be working closely with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council to integrate the Electronic Patient Care Report (ePCR) into the vehicles.
This is only the latest step in the companies efforts to increase the standard of care offered to its customers and Patients across the board.
